Research after viewing
THE POST-IMPRESSIONISTS: GAUGUIN ( 51 min)

What did Gauguin do before he decided to become an artist?
Stock broker
He had enough money at one time to do what, what did he later do with his purchases and what artist did he favor above all else?
He had an art collection, he favored Cezanne.Later he had to sell his collection to pay for his sick son.
How many children did he have? How many wives? What do you think of how he treated his "loved ones"?
5 children. 2 wives and 2 girlfriends. I think how he treated his loved ones was "barbaric" and cruel because he just left his wife and childen, so he could go live on an island. Another reason is not only did he remarry when his wife was still alive, but he remarried a 13 year old girl.
