He had an art collection, he favored Cezanne.Later he had to sell his collection to pay for his sick son.
How many children did he have? How many wives? What do you think of how he treated his "loved ones"?
5 children. 2 wives and 2 girlfriends. I think how he treated his loved ones was "barbaric" and cruel because he just left his wife and childen, so he could go live on an island. Another reason is not only did he remarry when his wife was still alive, but he remarried a 13 year old girl.

Martinique is off a Cuba and this little island is owned by the French.

I dislike most of his work but this one I really dislike.I don't like the plain red parts in it and the tree right in the middle. I don't like the colors, the position he put the people and plus I don't understand the meaning of this painting.

Most of his work I did not like, but some I did like, for example his landscapes. The picture up above I do like it because of the dark, scary features of it.
